The days are longer, the heat, the sunshine and the weekend excursions are a must in summer that help to realize the advantages of summer.<\/p>\n

But why is summer the most convenient season for an IVF procedure?<\/h4>\n

It has been scientifically proven that it is not only animals that have higher conception rates during the warmer months of spring and summer. A woman is also more likely to ovulate and conceive in the spring and summer. The medical community believes that the sun and therefore vitamin D can positively affect the ability to conceive. This is one of the main advantages of Mediterranean countries, such as Greece.<\/p>\n

According to a study<\/a> conducted in Liverpool and presented to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine<\/a>, conception rates increased from 7.5% in winter to 15.7% in summer.<\/p>\n

According to the research, the implantation of the fetus in the uterus and a successful pregnancy is 16% higher during the months with more daylight. Therefore, the degree of sunshine during the summer months seems be quite important.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The daylight lasts longer in the summer, and thus the quality time of the couple is longer. Every woman can spend useful time focusing on herself. \nDefinitely, the IVF<\/a> procedure reduces the financial budget for holidays. But the couple can create beautiful moments and experiences of fun and tranquility, in affordable ways. Some ideas are a walk on the sea, in the mountains, music nights, or evenings with friends.<\/p>\n

With a more flexible and relaxing program, stress will be reduced and the first concern will be the IVF cycle.<\/p>\n

At any time of the year, IVF is not a pleasant process. You can only make it less unpleasant and that is a significant advantage. Many times in life there are situations that we can not change. But we can become more resilient to them. And the sun helps us achieve it…<\/div>
