Article 1460 of the Greek Civil Code guarantees the anonymity of the donors of genital material, ie whether they are sperm donors, egg donors or fertilized eggs (embryos). It is explicitly stated that the identity of donors, who have provided gametes or fertilized eggs, is not disclosed to persons wishing to have a child. The consent of article 1456 of the Civil Code is also required, which for married people is simply written and for unmarried people is notarized.<\/p>\n<\/div>
Law 3089 stipulates that an unmarried and single woman, ie women who do not have a partner and, of course, have a infertility problem, can also resort to assisted reproduction.
